French President Emmanuel Macron's government plans to spend 8 billion euros ($9.3 billion) to tackle poverty, its spokesman said in a newspaper interview released on Wednesday. "Our poverty plan is worth 8 billion euros, spread over four years," government spokesman Benjamin Griveaux told the free newspaper 20 Minutes.
